Welcome to CGM Driving Tuition!
Hi, I'm Chris Brogden, a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor, based in the Harrogate area. I have built up a reputation over the last few years in providing a high standard of driving tuition to my pupils, resulting in the vast majority passing their practical driving test first time.(My current pass rate is tracking at over 90 percent) I feel I achieve this by using a combination of client centred coaching techniques, and a thorough structured tuition programme. which ensures that you will be not only achieve test standard, but you will also feel confident and competent when you finally get out driving on the road network on your own! I cover mainly Harrogate, Knaresborough and surrounding villages. Tuition vehicle is a 2022 VW Golf 2.0 turbo diesel manual hatchback.
What you can expect
I tend to find that pupils get the best learning experience when having lesson durations of between one and a half or two hours. This ensures that having completed each lesson, you will feel that you have made a significant and measurable amount of progress each time, and can also set goals for the next lesson to further your knowledge and experience in this important life skill.
I prefer to have a relaxed approach to teaching, at times adding in a little light humour along the way! Having patience and understanding is important to me as it ensures that my pupils learn in an unpressurised environment, and with a client centred method of teaching during all driving lessons.
A little more about me: I am 55, married with one daughter. I'm a bit of a petrol head, and have raced and driven regular track days over the years, and until recently , had volunteered for the past 20 years with North Yorkshire Police as a Special Constable. (Police trained response driver). I have a keen interest in promoting road safety, and take pride in ensuring my pupils achieve their goals and dreams of becoming a safe driver. Fully CRB checked and approved.
